Appreciation

"Since that session, I have felt much more at peace and complete, less anxious, and I have not had a sugar craving.  This is such a radical and welcome change. Yay! EFT really works."

Why is Deb talking about Human Design if she's an EFT practitioner? by Deborah Donndelinger Comment (1)

As I’ve worked with folks over the past few years, two themes in my work keep getting clearer – one is the fact that I have these intuitive and mental insights, an ability to see into folks’ issues and find the right words, the right perspective, the next layer to help folks move forward in a loving way.   I can see past the trauma, past the emotion, to the complete wholeness of the person and what happens is that then the other person begins to re-connect with their own sense of wholeness.  It’s a pretty amazing process and I’m absolutely humbled by it.  And it’s a combination of EFT, who I am, and who my clients are that allows that to happen.  Not every EFT practitioner has the same effect and result.  We each have a piece we contribute to the whole pie.

The other theme that’s getting clear, and is tied to the first, is I’m becoming more and more aware of my unwavering commitment to help folks discover and connect with their uniqueness, finding their own inner authority and strength and gifts.    EFT is part of this process but I’m finding that I also need to draw on other models.  I was using the Enneagram but since discovering Human Design, I am using that more and more instead.

What this means for you is that I now will be sharing about design as I write and if you work with me one-on-one, I’ll often draw on your human design to inform our session, just as I draw on family constellations when it’s appropriate.

Here’s some feedback from a beautiful client of mine that explains and the power of design combined with EFT.

I'm a Swan! by Deborah Donndelinger Comment (0)

After talking today with a prospective client, I was thinking about how so much of what I do with folks is helping them trust themselves a little bit more …

Whether it’s a desire to be an awesome mother in an unconventional way or a desire to stop being judgmental or a desire to connect with our spouse or a desire to feel included at a family gathering, we have these internal conflicts about who we are supposed to be and how we are supposed to feel.

Many of my clients are folks who are spiritual seekers who have always felt a little bit different from mainstream but haven’t understood that their way of seeing and being in the world is just as valid and important as everyone else’s.  It’s the Ugly Duckling Story in real life … we don’t fit in with the ducks but think it’s our fault.

In fact it’s nobody’s fault – it’s just that we are swans and until we meet another swan, we always feel defective.

Luckily we don’t need to meet 100 other swans, just one.

Now is the Time ... by Deborah Donndelinger Comment (5)

This year is going to be big; there is a universal calling for each of us to step fully in to our own power and unique gifts. All around me, folks are radically reevaluating how they want to be in this world. Can you feel the sense of possibility and power that is there for you? Join me in this tapping script around being BOLD!

Set-Up Phrase

Even though I used to think of myself as small, I am open to the excitement of totally being myself in a very big way.

Even though I don't know what it would look like to be boldly myself, I am open to the idea that my unique presence matters.

Even though now's the time for me be me, I get to chose what that looks like and how quickly or slowly I move.
